satis.FACTORY CASA > OPEN CALL
FOR/PARA ARTIST(A)S VISUALES de/FROM LOS ÁNGELES

satis.FACTORY Casa, in alliance with Hannah Curatorial & Advisory, is pleased to announce a one-month residency program in San José, Costa Rica, for Latinx visual artists from L.A., above the age of twenty-five.

This program is open to artists interested in creating, researching, and co-living in an independent, multidisciplinary, and experimental art house. We welcome people whose practices and interests are linked to contemporary Central American art and sustain interdisciplinary and community-based practices. The residency is an opportunity for artists who favor work-in-progress methods and are interested in collective learning processes.

At the same time, it opens a space for feedback and constructive criticism, and establishes networks between the residents and the local ecology. Depending on the resident’s interests, we facilitate a direct exchange with local artists, cultural makers, educators, independent spaces, or local institutions that will enhance their overall experience.

/ Eligibility: Latinx visual artists from Los Angeles, age 25+
